Melanie Combs-Dyer volunteers her time in several community service projects, including:

LetUsVote MD is a project aimed at changing the rules in the state of Maryland to allow independent and unaffiliated voters to vote in primary elections. Melanie is the Executive Director of Let Us Vote MD.​​

​The Path to Success Plan is a comprehensive project designed to assist individuals in developing a clear vision for their future. It also supports individuals and their families in achieving that vision effectively. Melanie is an Advisor to the Path to Success Plan Chief Operating Officer.
